When? Friday 19th April 2019. Event HQ & Cafe: Gateway House West, Newburn Riverside, Newcastle. NE15 8NX. Licence. Run Under UKA rules Licenece no. 2019-37532. HQ to start line 200 m away.

HQ OPENS AT 8.20 AM. FOLLOW STEWARDS DIRECTIONS FOR PARKING.DO NOT PARK JUST ANYWHERE!

No late ‘on the day entries’ will be taken. Sorry. All athletes run at their own risk. On race day, runners must complete the information on the reverse of their bib number. Spectators watch the event at their own risk. 

2019 CLUB INFO SHEET 

Race 1. 9.15 am. A combined U11 Boys & Girls race 1.16 miles. Entrants must be between 9 years of age BUT under age 11 on the day of the race. Fee: £2

Race 2. 9.25 am. A combined U13 Boys & Girls race  1.6 miles. Entrants must be under 13 on the 31st August 2018 to qualify. Fee £3

Race 3. 9.35 am.  A combined U15 Boys & Girls race  1.6 miles. Entrants must be under 15 on the 31st August 2018 to qualify. Fee £3

Junior presentations from 10.20 am at event HQRaces 1, 2 & 3: The 1st 3 individuals for each gender & a 1st team award for each gender (3 to count). 

Race 4. 9.45 am. Senior & Vet Women’s Relays. 2.2 miles. A minimum age of 15 years old on the day of the race. Vets must be 35 years old or over on the day of the race  3 runners to count as a qualifying team.

Race 5. 10.55 am. Senior and Vet Men’s Relays. 2.2 miles. A minimum age of 15 years old on the day of the race. Vets must be 40 years old or over on the day of the race 4 runners to count as a qualifying team.

Races 4 & 5. NOTES: Vets can run in a senior team. Seniors cannot run in a vets team. Awards to the 1st 3 Senior Teams & 1st 3 Vets Teams. Awards to the fastest lap, A Senior, A Vet & An O/50. Presentations from 12.30 pm at event HQ. The athlete who runs the fastest lap will receive the Alex Burns Cup. 

Follow the event steward instructions. The event areas will be marshaled & signposted. PARKING IS AT THE OWNERS RISK & ELSWICK HARRIERS ACCEPT NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE TO ANY VEHICLE, INCLUDING CLAMPING OR FINES.
