2019 GFR VER 2.0

A record turnout for competitors at our Good Friday Relays earlier today. After an early misty start, the fine morning sunshine added to the spectacle:  lots of spectators were treated to fine racing from the Under 11’s, U13’s U15’s The Womens and Mens Relays made for a great morning of competition.

A special thank you from Safety Officer Derek Nelson who had Club athlete Alex Harman in attendance at the sub-station marshal point. Alex was superb in marshaling the runners!

To all of the event day help team, you were superb throughout, your a credit to your club.

Thank you to the officials team and to Denise and Adele at Gateway House. Thank you to all participants and spectators……we hope you enjoyed your racing: cheering on your teams and runners.

Steven. The recoders transcribe was somewhat illegible. A few folks have looked at the recording papers and we believe we have the right times, placing and orders. Updated today to be republished tomorrow.

Hello Paul,
Thank you for contacting the club. The admin team will look into this. I can’t at this moment in time, give you a specific date as to when this will be done:
The club is turning its attention towards another run event on the 12th of June (now around 8 weeks away) it hosts: The Newburn River Run, so folks in a voluntary capacity, are now busy with this event.
