Senior Training & Guide Running Workshop.

A reminder of the seniors training group, meso cycle training plan, is here for your information: Mesocycle Plan.

Below is some information if you would like to become a guide runner. Simon Lynch (Intermediate Run Group Leader) has been in contact with England Athletics about a forthcoming course, which is to be held in Durham. Simon has been in contact with England Athletics regarding the Sight Loss Awareness & Guide Running Workshop. They have confirmed a date of Monday 18th June 2018 for the course to be ran in the North East. We believe the booking & registering of the course goes live on 1st April 2018. The course costs £20.00. The club will pay for your course (just ensure you have a receipt of your payment to England Athletics). The DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) checks that requires completion is  free of charge , assuming the person undertaking the course doesn’t go on to make money out it. Simon is available to have an informal chat about the course on training evenings. Cheers, GB.
