Nearly forgotten – but not quite!

Sunday 11th Nov: Team Elswick’s David Healy ran the Wooler Half Marathon in 2:52:04 and senior coach Steve Robertson ran the Run Nation 10 miler at Hamsterly Forest. Dave was placed 137th and Steve ran a fine 1:03:57 and into 2nd place! Very well (belatedly) ran gents, great effort by both runners. Cheers, GB.

Elswick’s Steve Robertson on his way to a heard earned 2nd place at Hamsterly.

Words & Photos: Thanks to Les Williamson. Thank you (From GB) To Team Elswick Volunteers who put this very canny run event ON! Qu: “How fast can you go?” Ans: ” Don’t Know, never tried”. Photo below: some of the  45 newer members engaged in the 1 mile handicap around the Quadrant loop at ONE Estate. An excellent example too of “be seen / be safe ethos” from Team Elswick Runners.
