NEMAA Newsletter and XC

Please see attached document relating to NEMAA

It contains all the information needed in order for Masters (over 35) to be able to join North East Masters athletics association. This enables us to have more competition at a reduced rate against others in our own age groups. By joining you will also be entitled to enter the British Masters national 10k road championships at the Blyth 10k on 7th April. Places will be snapped up so I would advise early entry.

Elswick Harriers Xmas Campaign

  • Newcastle West End – Foodbank – Opening in 2013 it has grown to be the largest foodbank in UK. The charity provides food assistance to people in the west end of Newcastle which is one of the most economically and socially deprived areas in the North East. See for more information
  • The Ghanaian Children’s Trust is a charity which provides a secure home and an education for street children, orphans and children from poor families. The Trust provides for children of all ages, from very young babies to young adults, and would appreciate donations of clothes and shoes (particularly sportswear, trainers and football boots).  See for more information.
  • Crisis is a UK charity which helps people out of homelessness and campaigns for the changes needed to solve it altogether.  Crisis would appreciate donations of clothes and shoes (particularly warm men’s clothing), and Christmas gifts.  See for more information.
